Knife & Tool Sharpening Disclaimer

1. Customer Responsibility
By submitting any knife, blade, tool, or sharp-edged item for sharpening, the customer acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the condition, safe handling, and proper use of the item after it has been serviced.

2. Inherent Risks
Sharpened tools and knives are extremely sharp and may cause injury if handled improperly. Apex sharpening is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur after the item has been returned to the customer.

3. Pre-Existing Damage
Normal wear, chips, cracks, rust, broken tips, or other damage present prior to sharpening may limit the results or carry risks of further wear. While we take great care, Apex sharpening is not liable for breakage or additional damage that may occur due to pre-existing weaknesses in the item.

4. Tool Modifications
Sharpening, grinding, or re-profiling may slightly alter the appearance, dimensions, or finish of the blade or tool. The customer accepts these normal results of the sharpening process.

5. Specialty or High-End Items
Some knives or tools made from certain steels, coatings, or specialty constructions may have limitations regarding sharpening methods. The customer agrees that Apex sharpening will use its professional judgment but is not responsible for manufacturer warranty voids or aesthetic changes.

6. Loss or Theft
While every effort is made to safeguard customer property, Apex sharpening is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage due to circumstances outside our control.

7. Customer Safety
Upon pickup, it is the customer’s responsibility to carefully inspect and safely transport their sharpened items. Keep sharpened tools out of the reach of children and use appropriate storage.

8. Agreement
By using our sharpening services, the customer agrees to all terms outlined in this disclaimer.
